WHO WE ARE
Mark Fetty
President;
Consultant
BSME - Va. Tech.
He loved the challenges, but after 30 years of working for a great company, it was time to explore other avenues.
Mark joined our consulting corporation in early 2020. He is a true INTP. His abilities cover a broad range of activities.
Growing up, Mark was the inquisitive boy who always wanted to figure out how things worked. Clocks, bicycle gears, toys, it didn't matter; he would take apart anything. (Most of the time, he could get it back together in working order.)
At 15, after helping his uncle change out head gaskets on a dump truck, Mark and his dad started the full restoration of a '57 Chevy. This project included Mark's first solo engine rebuild. He completed a second restoration of a '66 Chevelle before heading off to college for some "book-learning".
After earning his BSME from Virginia Tech ('85), he worked four enjoyable years at Mack Truck in Allentown, PA quickly working his way through several positions to become a Reliability Engineer in the vehicle engineering department.
But Virginia was in his blood and he made the decision to return to central Virginia where he started a job at BRENCO in Petersburg, VA. For 30 years, Mark worked in the Product Engineering Department as a key player turning customers' needs and wants into manufacturable and great performing products.
Mark has been a volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America for over 20 years. As a seasoned Vigil member in the BSA's Order of the Arrow, Mark earned the Founder's Award. He was recently awarded the "Silver Beaver" award.
Now in a move to transition into different opportunities, Mark is
consulting, sharing his unique blend of imagination and logic to
help others solve problems and improve products and applications.
